Verizon Fios Internet Service Availability
FiOS in San Mateo County
FiOS is continually expanding to different areas within the state of California. However, Verizon FiOS is not yet available in San Mateo County. Hopefully, FiOS will be available in the county of San Mateo. While there is no set date as to when FiOS will be available in the San Mateo County, Verizon is working hard to bring FiOS to as many cities as possible. Since FiOS is not yet available in San Mateo County, residents have not yet seen the power and speed at which a fiber optic internet connection can produce. DSL and Cable internet providers have long provided residents in San Mateo County with broadband internet connection. However, the release of FiOS within San Mateo County will change the way subscribers surf the internet.
