Verizon Fios Internet Service Availability
FiOS in San Francisco County
FiOS is continually expanding to different areas within the state of California. However, Verizon FiOS is not yet available in San Francisco County. Hopefully, FiOS will be available in the county of San Francisco. While there is no set date as to when FiOS will be available in the San Francisco County, Verizon is working hard to bring FiOS to as many cities as possible. Since FiOS is not yet available in San Francisco County, residents have not yet seen the power and speed at which a fiber optic internet connection can produce. DSL and Cable internet providers have long provided residents in San Francisco County with broadband internet connection. However, the release of FiOS within San Francisco County will change the way subscribers surf the internet.
