January 24, 2006
Verizon just launched its FiOS TV service in New York and Massachusetts bringing in new competition to the cable television providers. Today residents in Massapequa Park in New York and Woburn, Massachusetts will be able to receive this new and exciting television service offered by Verizon.
Both Massapequa Park, New York and Woburn, Massachusetts are the first communities in their state to receive this exclusive television service. As word spreads of its arrival, Verizon customers will be lining up for their chance to be the next to receive the FiOS TV service.
Customers who schedule their appointments first will be among the first to receive their new FiOS TV installation as long as it's within the offered areas. While customers start ordering the service, Verizon FiOS employees are busy fulfilling the flood of orders coming in.
FiOS TV uses the speed and reliability of broadband fiber optics to broadcast its video service to its customers, causing many residents to switch over from their previous cable television providers. Over 17,000 residents in the Massapequa Park area can embrace and feel the power of Verizon TV.
While as many as 16 different states have residents with access to the FiOS internet service, only a handful nationwide carry the FiOS Television service. FiOS TV is currently only being offered in 5 different states, with the most recent two being New York and Massachusetts.
The other 3 states where FiOS TV is currently available in is Virginia, Texas, and Florida. Customers who have enjoyed their newly found internet speed from their Verizon FiOS internet service will surely enjoy the crystal clear video they will get from FiOS TV.
Current FiOS TV subscribers have expressed their feeling about the service with reviews stating that their new FiOS television service rivals other cable television and satellite service providers such as Comcast Cable and DirecTV Satellite, there's just no comparison.
By combining your FiOS Internet Service and FiOS TV service into one neatly consolidated package, subscribers are able to benefit with a reduction in price. Since most users also have phone connections, Verizon has cooped up a way for subscribers to benefit from having all their services provided to them by Verizon.
This makes the most sense since both Verizon and the customers will benefit the most by having this economically friendly package. By combining the phone, internet, and television services, subscribers will gain the most by order this super package.
